Brake fluid is the lifeblood of the brake system, and it is designed to work properly for a certain number of years before replacement.  Over time, brake fluid loses its moisture resistance and begins to absorb small amounts of water, which not only reduces brake performance but also can corrode key parts of the system. Air in the brake system can cause your brake pedal to feel soft and imprecise. When you are faced with this kind of situation, not even a new brake pad can save you from the dreaded soft brake pedal.

Flushing and replacing the fluid at appropriate intervals (two or three years) is a cheap and effective way to ensure that your vehicle is safe. It also helps you avoid expensive repairs.
